$30 Corned Beef Brisket Fatty Beyond Belief

Has this happened to you, You shop online at your local store for a Saint Patrick's Day corned beef brisket, and below is what you got.

After saving what appeared to 25% of solid meat, I was shocked  that 75% of it was pure fat. I don't know why the Walmart shopper selected this cut of meat to add to my basket, but Walmart policy (and it is written) is that they pride themselves in selling the best choice of food to their online grocery customers as they would want for themselves.

Grant it, Walmart had no idea that the fat running through this cut of corned beef ran so deep that we barely had a for two meals. However, the big mound of fat protruding (like Quasimodo hump) from the side of the meaty portion of the brisket should have been a huge clue that the this cut of meat was not worth $30.

In fact, once most of the large portion of the  fat was removed, there was barely enough real corned beef left for two people, and generally, for $30 one would expect a brisket to last at least three days. It did not and I did get a refund.
