What’s with FedEx??!!

On March 31, 2021, I placed an order with an online store. The order arrived five days later than its scheduled delivery date. When it arrives the first thing I notice was that the tape on one end of the shipping box had been pried opened.

At first, I did not think much of it. However, when I opened the box, not only was there an article of ethnic clothing bunched and twisted up in a corner, there was a missing item.

Seeing this I knew that the tape which had been open on one end of the box meant that the two article of clothing had been removed during the transport to my home and someone has stolen a portion of my order. While the ethnic item was returned to the box, the other item was kept by the thief. As I stated above, this order arrived five days late and there is no doubt that the theft occurred before arriving at my home.

After contacting FedEx, and the police department, I contacted the place where I purchased the item and requested a replacement.

That replacement arrived today, and below are photos of how the FedEx driver delivered the package. The item is so rumpled that it hardly looks like its description picture. Although the item is not damaged, the shipping package has been punched with an unknown object that a trail of tiny holes in it and dark visible circular marks. The package is also wet with fleck of unknown matter. All this occurred before the package reached my home.

On second and third look at this label; this might not to be original shipping bag that this item was shipped in. This label looks as if there was an attempt to remove it or that  it was removed , torn and replaced with an additional address label with my name on it. I called FedEx and reported this package condition and that of the stolen item from the first shipment.

The condition of the package leads me to believe that the original theft occur very close to home. I will report this damage to FedEx as I believe their driver knows of the original theft and today’s damaged package. If he did not do it himself, or someone else within the FedEx center that handled it, then it was another resident on his route that did it.

Other than the fact there are known thieves in my area, there is no other reason to mishandle or steal from my packages.

If you are experiencing damaged and/or theft of packages or items taken from FedEx packages called, 1 (800) 463-3339 to report it.

for disbelieving neigbors: What I see.

Me on an earlier date

Today's package delivery. I refrained from adding the delivery drivers.

Therefore, if I say the theft occurred out camera, it occurred out camera. There are too many cooks in my kitchen.
