“Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery Location”

“Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery Location”.

On March 05, 2022, we order some groceries from one of the local Walmart store to be delivered to us.  We received everything with the exception of one large bottle of  ‘Arm & Hammer Sensitive Skin Free & Clear, 140 Loads Liquid Laundry Detergent’, 210 Fl oz for $10.97. This detergent was due to arrive yesterday, March 06, 2022.

When it did not arrive we checked the USPS tracking information for the detergent’s location, below is what we learned.

As seen above, it states “Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery Location”. In truth no one from the USPS came to our home.  We were out doing yard work and there was nothing on the security cameras showing anyone from USPS. Therefore, we contacted Walmart via chat, and was told in order to get a refund for us to return to the chat on Monday, March 7, 2022 and inform them that the detergent did not arrive last night.

The detergent neither arrived last night nor by 7am this morning, so Walmart was informed and a refund was issued. However, the detergent arrived later this morning in the pictured condition.

1.       Shipping box partially opened and wet

2.       Detergent loose

3.       Detergent in its shipping box delivered in pictured USPS storage crate.

Walmart was contacted again via chat and informed of the state of this delivery and that we received it, but  we did not want the detergent any longer because we do not know if the detergent has been contaminated or not.

We will be returning this detergent on the above grounds and we firmly believe it should be discarded and not resold.

A link to this post has been given to Walmart.

We will reorder. Hopefully, this is the end of such mishaps.

We got the okay from Walmart to discard the detergent, so here goes....
